This course introduces key structural and social determinants (i.e., sociopolitical context, socioeconomic position, access to healthcare, living and working conditions, food availability, among others) shaping nutrition and health inequities among historically marginalized populations in U.S. society. It is designed to offer advanced undergraduate students and graduate students directed readings and tailored activities to meet the learning objectives. Undergraduates should enroll in NS 4510, and graduate students should enroll in NS 6510.
