A picture might be worth a thousand words. An interface can be worth a thousand pictures. – Ben Shneiderman The interface is perhaps the most important aspect of a product. In a world gone digital, it is also the primary touchpoint of a brand. Every product – and now, every brand – lives and dies with the interface. In other words, a brand is only as good as the interface. This course is designed to help students understand the strategic and practical aspects of designing a brand and an interface. We will cover the principles of brand strategy and brand design, user experience and interface design (UX/UI), and how to build a brand for the customer of the 21st century.
