Course Description
Course information provided by the Courses of Study 2021-2022.
Bike Touring is for those who want to learn how to travel self-supported by bike. This course will cover bike touring equipment use, camping skills, route planning and bike maintenance. Skills on the bike will include road riding safety and riding with a loaded bike. Classes will include rides of 5-15 miles and the course will culminate in a two-day bike tour with overnight camping. The weekend tour may include up to 30 miles per day.
When Offered Fall, Spring.
Fees Course fee: $255 for instruction; $60 bike rental (if needed).

Instruction Mode: In Person
Drop Deadline: Monday, January 24th; Course Fee: $255; Bikes are available for $60 rental fee. The first class meeting will be held on campus in Bartels Hall, room B01. Other classes will first meet at Bartels Hall and then travel to other areas around the Fingerlakes Region. Transportation is provided for classes off campus.
