Operations management concerns managing different processes and activities that produce value in the form of products and services. Increased competition, expanding product variety and more demanding consumers require more efficient operations management. Effective operations management can enable companies to increase market shares, reduce costs, and improve customer service. This course is designed to introduce students to the basic concepts of operations management and the useful methods for solving real-world operations management problems.

Instruction Mode: In Person
Johnson MBA students are not eligible to take this class, as it is duplicative of the MBA core. Enrollment limited to: MPS in Management and Graduate students who have permission. There will be no enrollment from a wait list into a class if you have a time conflict or if it will create an overload. Students adding or dropping this course after February 15, 2021 will be assessed a fee of $100. The deadline to drop the class without a “W” is March 8, 2021 @11:59pm but you will still be charged the $100 late fee.
