The course will review landmark case law from the U.S. Supreme Court and lower courts, and will review key pieces of legislation like the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Rehabilitation Act, Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act (GINA), and Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Key topics will include nondiscrimination in the workplace, access to the political process, and access to justice and due process for people with disabilities.
