Course Description
Course information provided by the Courses of Study 2018-2019.
Introduces veterinary students to primary care small-animal clinical practice through direct exposure to the Community Practice Service of the Cornell University Hospital for Animals. Students observe restraint, examination, and routine treatment of pets and communication with clients. Formal and informal discussions will occur to present and discuss topics of primary care general practice. Successful completion requires satisfactory participation during 4 half-days of clinical service, written assignments and attendance in lectures.
When Offered Fall, Spring, Summer.
Permission Note Enrollment limited to: first- and second-year veterinary students.
Comments Sign up online during pre-enroll and/or add/drop then be sure to sign up in CPS for shifts.
