Students develop an understanding of marketing management: the process through which organizations analyze, plan, implement, and control programs to develop and maintain beneficial exchanges with target buyers. Students learn about marketing management through a mix of readings, lectures, class discussions, case studies, in-class exercises, guest speakers, and exams.

Outcomes
  • PLO 1.1: Students will identify key issues and appropriately apply discipline principles to analyze hospitality marketing challenges.
  • PLO 1.2: Students will critically evaluate hospitality marketing challenges and will formulate solutions based on principles from multiple management disciplines.
