Course Description
Course information provided by the Courses of Study 2017-2018.
This course will review the neural bases of behavior, with an emphasis on human cognitive function and dysfunction. Initial lectures will consist of a general introduction to neuroanatomy, cortical organization and methods used by cognitive neuroscientists. These will be followed by lectures focusing on specific areas of cognitive functioning and related disorders (e.g., attention and neglect; memory and amnesia; language and aphasia etc.). Relevant human clinical disorders and brain networks are discussed throughout.

Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisite: HD 1150 or PSYCH 1101 and BIONB 2220 or PSYCH 2230 or permission of instructor.
