Perspectives on the Climate Change Challenge

Course Description

Course information provided by the Courses of Study 2017-2018.

This university-wide seminar series provides critically important perspectives on the grand challenge of climate change. Speakers from Cornell University and other institutions and will cover a range of topics including the science of climate change, implications for ecosystems, oceans, forests, agriculture and communities, the important ethical, philosophical and legal insights on the issue, and provide thoughts on societal responses through international mechanisms, economic drivers and communication tools. This seminar series counts towards the requirements of the climate change minor and the ESS minor and major.

Forbidden Overlaps Forbidden overlap: due to an overlap in content, students will not receive credit for both BEE 2000 and BEE 2010 .
