Course Description
Course information provided by the Courses of Study 2016-2017.
Intended for students anticipating equine practice after graduation. Builds on material presented in the foundation courses to provide supplemental instruction in surgical disorders of the horse. Lectures emphasize disorders likely to be encountered in equine practice (traumatic wounds, reproductive and upper respiratory tract disorders, colic and prepurchase examination). Laboratories emphasize diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in which an entry-level equine practitioner should be competent.Intended for students anticipating equine practice after graduation. Permission Note Enrollment limited to: third- and fourth- year veterinary students.
Four Week - First. Choose one lecture and one laboratory.
