Course Description
Course information provided by the Courses of Study 2016-2017.
Introductory neonatology course. The emphasis is on the wellness examinations and preventative care for neonatal calves, crias and foals in the first few days of life. Followed by exploration of the medical and surgical problems of neonates with an emphasis on the foal. Students also spend several hours in the neonatal intensive care unit providing nursing care of hospitalized patients under staff supervision.

Permission Note Enrollment limited to: first-, second-, third-, and fourth-year veterinary students.
Comments Minimum enrollment 10; maximum 100.
