Course Description
Course information provided by the Courses of Study 2016-2017.
This studio-based course provides students with the graphic skills and hand drafting techniques combined with critical thinking concepts and processes used to design hospitality facilities. Assignments include design and drawing guest rooms, guest room floors, and public & back of house spaces. Discussions about target market desires as well as location and site analyses combined with extensive one-on-one critiques and class pin-ups provide students the tools and experience to effectively communicate in a design environment. No prior drawing skills required.
When Offered Spring.
Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisite: HADM 2550 or permission of instructor.
Satisfies Requirement Elective.
