Course Description
Course information provided by the Courses of Study 2016-2017.
This intensive weekend-long course pushes the boundaries of current design practices by developing a concept plan for an innovative environment in a nontraditional setting. Students work in multi-disciplinary teams to develop solutions and prepare design presentations for review by visiting design professionals. Typologies include: restaurants, pop-up venues, and user experience phenomena.
When Offered Spring.
Fees Minimum cost of materials: $50.
Permission Note Enrollment limited to: junior or senior status. Priority given to: DEA Seniors. Limited to: 18 students.
Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisite: minimum of two design studios or permission of instructor. Student must commit to full participation throughout the entire weekend experience.

Comments Occurs one weekend during the spring semester.
Outcomes- Explore innovation and creativity in temporal spatial experience (innovate in research, design or practice).
