Course Description
Course information provided by the Courses of Study 2014-2015.
The course is designed both for those responsible for internal accounting information and those who use such information for decision making. Topics include budgeting, product costing, activity-based costing, activity-based management, standard costs, cost variance analysis, cost estimation and prediction, cost-volume-profit analysis, performance measurement, non-manufacturing cost analysis, cost allocation, and transfer pricing. Instruction will be a mixture of lecture and case discussion. Student evaluation will be based on three prelim exams, a final exam, and class participation.
When Offered Fall, spring.
Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisite: NCC 5000, NCC 5010, and NCC 5020, or equivalent.

Open to GM, Grad, UG Srs and Jrs. Add/Drop Dates: Johnson Students - January 13th at 8:00am to February 4th at 4:00pm. Non-Johnson Students: January 29th at 8:00am to February 4th at 4:00pm. You may add or drop a full semester class after February 4th with permission of the faculty. A late fee of $100.00 will be charged for each add or drop transaction. If you are dropping after March 18th you will also receive a "W" on your transcript in addition to the late fees.
