Course Description

Covers the pricing of derivatives and how derivatives can be used for the purpose of risk management and speculation. A portion of this course involves the use of spreadsheet or other computer programs.

Permission Note Enrollment limited to: priority given to AEM students.
Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisite: AEM 2100 and AEM 2240 or equivalents. Recommended prerequisite: ECON 3030 or AEM 2600/AEM 2601 or equivalent and a calculus course; familiarity with calculus and probability and statistics.
