The rapid accumulation of high-dimensional data has opened new opportunities to make informed business decisions. Python is a widely used programming language for analyzing data-rich business problems. Python is designed to describe, categorize, and analyze this large-scale data easily and intuitively. This course presents a unique opportunity to cover the basics of programming with Python while exposing students to various kinds of applications. The objective of the course is to build from scratch students' ability to write codes in Python, read other people's code, analyze, visualize, and interpret data. (MHA-EL)

Add/Drop Dates: 9:00 am, August 17, 2026 - 11:59 pm, September 8, 2026 with an additional add/drop period 8:00 am, October 14, 2026 - 11:59 pm, October 21, 2026. Students will be required to obtain faculty permission to add/drop after October 21, 2026. If you drop after November 11, 2026, a "W" will be posted on your transcript.
