Creative teams generate novel ideas and implement those ideas in organizations, new ventures, and society at large. This class is about leading and managing creative teams. It will introduce you to relevant research and theory on leadership and teams and provide hands on experience with creative team leadership via a weekend practicum. Class sessions will include lecture, in-class exercises, and case discussions. The practicum will include participation in a weekend-long hackathon event where you will be part of a creative team that develops a new idea from initial ideation to live pitch presentation.
