Course Description

It's the world's biggest treasure hunt! You might not know it but people all over the world have been hiding boxes of treasure all around your neighborhood. Come learn how to find their secret locations, what to do with them, and even make one of your own. This class will introduce students to a bit of map reading, use of a GPS in a natural setting. No experience is necessary.
Fees Course fee: $235 for instruction/ travel.

Satisfies Requirement Satisfies one PE requirement if taken as PE.

Instruction Mode: In Person
Course fee: $255. The first class meeting will briefly meet on campus in Bartels Hall, room B01 and then travel to other areas around Ithaca, New York. Other classes will first meet at Bartels Hall and then head right out to other areas around Ithaca. Transportation is provided for classes off campus.
Drop Deadline: Wednesday, September 3, 2025. Students will be responsible for the course fee and assessed a $50 late drop fee if they do not drop by the deadline.
