Instruction and practice in the use of a small bore target rifle. The course includes 3 position small bore .22 cal. (prone, standing and kneeling) target shooting. Class meets once a week.


Permission Note New York State Law requires that all participants MUST be United States citizens or currently registered Cornell University students to take shooting classes.

    Course fee: $425. New York State Law requires that all participants MUST be United States citizens or currently registered Cornell University students to take shooting classes. Attendance for the first two classes is mandatory for safety reasons! If either or both of these classes are missed, the student may no longer continue to attend and must drop the course.
    Drop Deadline: Wednesday, September 10, 2025. Students will be responsible for the course fee and assessed a $50 late drop fee if they do not drop by the deadline. For policies pertaining to Physical Education courses, please visit https://scl.cornell.edu/pe/policies.
