BME 4010
Course Description
Course information provided by the Courses of Study 2024-2025. Courses of Study 2024-2025 is scheduled to publish mid-June.
This course focuses on applying techniques of engineering analysis to quantify function and dysfunction of human physiologic systems. Thematic areas include the cardiovascular, respiratory, musculoskeletal, and renal systems. Emphasis will be placed on developing mathematical models to understand function and dysfunction across tissue scales, and implementing these with experimental data to make biomedical engineering judgments.
When Offered Fall.
Permission Note Enrollment preference given to: Biomedical Engineering majors.
Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisite: ENGRD 2020, MATH 2930, BIOMG 1350 and BME 2010 or BIOG 1440.
Regular Academic Session. Choose one lecture, one laboratory, and one studio. Combined with: MAE 4660
