Mini Course in Advanced Conduction and Radiation Heat Transfer This minicourse concerns advanced treatments of selected topics in conduction and radiation heat transfer. Topics include conservation equations of heat and mass transfer in integral and differential forms, theoretical solutions for planar and cylindrical geometries; moving boundaries associated with phase change processes, numerical methods for conduction problems, blackbody radiation and the Planck distribution law, global warming and environmental radiation, net radiation exchange between surfaces.
