Course Description
Course information provided by the Courses of Study 2022-2023. Courses of Study 2022-2023 is scheduled to publish mid-June.
Deals with the use of data to make marketing decisions. Introduces concepts, methods, and applications of analytics to address marketing questions. Three broad areas are covered: Digital Advertising Analytics, Demand Analytics, and Customer Analytics. Unlike marketing courses that focus on conceptual material, this course provides skills to translate conceptual understanding into specific operational plans, a skill in increasing demand in organizations today. Throughout the course, emphasis is placed on return on investment in marketing spending. The course is particularly valuable to students planning careers in management consulting, marketing, and market research. It is designed for students who have some background in quantitative methods and have a willingness to deal with mathematical concepts. Knowledge of Excel and regression analysis is required.

Comments Students should have a knowledge of regression analysis and comfort with using Excel.

**Johnson and Grad Students Only** Add/Drop Dates: August 15th at 9:00am thru September 6th at 11:59pm with an additional Add/Drop period beginning October 12th at 8:00am thru October 19th at 11:59pm. After October 19th permission of the instructor is required to add/drop and a late fee of $100.00 will be charged. If you are dropping after November 9th you will also receive a "W" on your transcript in addition to the late fees. Non-Johnson students must see their college registrar regarding policies connected with adding/dropping a second half Johnson School class. A petition may be required. There will be no enrollment from a wait list into a class if you have a time conflict or will put you over your maximum allowed credits Non-Johnson students may add themselves to the waitlists during the enrollment periods, however Johnson Students have priority into the classes and non-Johnsons will be enrolled: 1) IF seats are still available after Johnson students complete their enrollment period and 2) IF the instructor allows. There will be no enrollment from a wait list into a class if you have a time conflict or will put you over your maximum allowed credits.
