Course Description
Course information provided by the Courses of Study 2022-2023. Courses of Study 2022-2023 is scheduled to publish mid-June.
The expanded design thesis is designed for undergraduate students who wish to pursue a yearlong investigation. The expanded thesis must include substantial research and the completed work should be of wider scope and greater depth than is normal for a one-semester thesis. The thesis topic should extend the student's work already begun in a course or a sequence of courses taken before the fifth year.
When Offered Fall, Spring.
Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisite: ARCH 4102Â and approval of expanded thesis application. Students who carry a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.7 and minimum studio GPA of 3.8 are eligible to apply.
Course Attribute (CU-UGR)
Satisfies Requirement Will satisfy the ARCH 5101Â requirement for B.Arch. candidates who must satisfactorily complete a thesis.
