Course Description

This course focuses on equity investment in commercial real estate through indirect vehicles. The course builds on standard investment and corporate finance concepts. The high-level learning objectives are to familiarize students with indirect real estate investment and to introduce the analytical tools required to value the firms in that sector.
When Offered Fall, spring.
Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisite: HADM 4280 or HADM 6280 (which can be taken concurrently) or equivalent course work and securities investment experience.
Comments Elective. Enrollment limited to 50 students. Undergrad students must enroll in HADM 4271. Instructor has an early drop deadline: 2 weeks after the class begins.

Prerequisite: HADM 4280 or HADM 6280 (which can be taken concurrently), or equivalent coursework and securities investment experience. . Because of the nature of this course, students may not drop this course after the second week of classes. Undergraduates must enroll in HADM 4271.
