Course Description
Course information provided by the Courses of Study 2017-2018.
Integration of mammalian cell biology with engineering modeling principles, put into the context of medical pathology and disease states. Consists of three modules: (1) cell culture techniques/receptor ligand interactions, (2) cellular trafficking, and (3) signal transduction.
When Offered Fall.
Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisite: course work in basic biology such as BIOMG 1350, BIOG 1440 or BIOG 1445, BIOMG 3300, or BIOMI 2900; and mathematics through differential equations (e.g. MATH 2930). Permission of instructor required if pre-requisites not met.
Regular Academic Session. Choose one lecture and one laboratory. Combined with: CHEME 4010
