Introduction to Lifespan Development

Course Description

Course information provided by the Courses of Study 2016-2017.

The course will survey the trajectory of lifespan human development.  It will start with some of the history, theories, and research strategies in the field, and then proceed to a chronological account of human development. This account will start with genetic and environmental foundations of development, and proceed to prenatal development, birth, infancy, toddlerhood, early childhood, middle childhood, adolescence, early adulthood, middle adulthood, late adulthood, and death.
